Yesterday’s wedding at the Christchurch Harbour hotel was one of the most enjoyable weddings I’ve worked at for ages. The setting at the hotel is amazing as it sits right next to the water’s edge but also the weather was fantastic and the couple managed to plan a very relaxed day for all their guests.
A whole group photo was made more fun by the releasing of a whole load of balloons.
The venue has a little jetty which is perfect for wedding photos.
After an ‘afternoon tea’ wedding breakfast and some excellent singing from Jason Jay Taylor, Clare and Andy initiated a game of cricket in the hotel garden. Clare showed it’s not just Andy who can bat!
After that it was time for some more piccies overlooking the sea.
After more time chilling and drinking, the wedding reached a climax with the first dance but the light was still good so I was keen to get a few romantic shots.
