My last wedding took me to one of Bournemouth’s most popular wedding venues, The Miramar. However, it was early January and very wet so outdoor photos were not on the agenda. The couple didn’t want a load of portraits of themselves preferring a more laid back coverage. The day started with some shots of the bride and bridesmaids at the hotel.
Then I headed off to the Church where the rain continued. The bride, Carmen, had to move fast to get into the church quickly but she still managed a smile.
The service took place at Corpus Christi Church in Boscombe, a fine spacious old church which gives a wedding a real
sense of occasion.
They wanted to get to the Miramar quickly as it was still raining.
Inside the Hotel, Christmas trees were still up and the couple wanted these to feature in the photos
The hotel is a lovely one for a winter wedding. It feels cosy and quite homely inside and I can see its appeal.
Soon the evening celebrations got under way and Paul and Carmen took to the dance floor.
