Karen and Jools’ wedding last week was great fun. They decided to incorporate lots of different water themed elements into their wedding and they were lucky as the weather was ideal, if anything slightly too warm. The couple got married at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel which is a beautiful hotel and directly overlooks Christchurch harbour. It even has a little jetty from which boats can be launched etc.
Then a small rowing boat arrived and the couple slightly nervous, carefully boarded the boat desperate not to fall in the water! However their nerves soon subsided and it wasn’t long before they displayed their true feelings towards each other.
After a short boat ride, we took loads of family pictures etc before boarding another boat to make the crossing to mudeford sandspit.
Then we made our way to the beach in still scorchio heat.
Finally we headed back to the hotel for the evening celebrations. It had been a wonderful day for all including me as I got some great shots in a magnificent location and Jools and Karen were just great fun to photograph!
